Sudbury is an attractive, unspoilt market town set in the beautiful Stour valley. There is a wide range of shops with a popular market on Thursdays and Saturdays. The meadows surrounding Sudbury are very attractive and provide excellent walking and picnicking.

Lavenham -
Widely regarded as the best example of an intact Medieval Village,
this important 'Wool Town' was once one of the richest in England and is cluttered with many magnificent Medieval buildings.

Long Melford -
Long Melford; known for its numerous antique shops and used as a setting for the popular television series "Lovejoy". Melford Hall was used as the home of Lady Jane in the series. Long Melford's main street has many identities as it stretches through this elongated village. The street, at various points named Hall Street, Little St Mary's, and Rodbridge Hill, among other names, gives some clue as to why the village?s name has the prefix "Long".
